CANVAS

I collaborated with alumni of the University of Michigan to help bring their original musical, 'Canvas', to the screen. I was responsible for all post-production sound editing, mixing, and design. I had to overcome challenges such as balancing mic levels, matching dry mic signal with room mic signal, mixing music stems, and sorting through hundreds of dialogue takes to find the best ones and sync them with the video.

BETTER OFF - A SHORT FILM

For this short film, I was responsible for all on-sight dialogue and sound effect/ambient recording, as well as the post-production sound design.

KARMA - ONE MINUTE SHORT FILM

I was responsible for the sound design of this one-minute short film, including recording audio on set, creating/editing foley effects, composing music and ambient sound, and mixing/mastering/syncing all audio to the film.

AUDIO FOR VIDEO PROJECT

The audio in this scene from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was entirely replaced by me for an audio-for-video class project.

All dialogue, sound effects, and music were replaced from the original scene using audio clips from online libraries, recorded foley and dialogue, and MIDI instruments.

FILM SCORE - CARNIVAL OF SOULS

This project was my first time scoring for film. Utilizing software instruments including Massive X and Kontakt, I replaced the original score with my own composition that supports the scene and creates an eerie atmosphere.
